Owner/Artistic Director
Krysta started Red Bluff Performing Arts Centre in 2014 after graduating with her B.A. in Musical Theatre from SJSU. She created Flare as a place where anyone can come together through performance art to thrive. Her favorite part of Flare is when she gets to watch her "nuggets" (aka - students) have a magic 'lightbulb' moment after months of hard work at something in class! Watching our students succeed and grow is simply the best!
Lisa started teaching at Flare in 2014, specializing in classes for younger students and ballet. Throughout her years of being at Flare she has taught all ages (1.5+), ballet, tap, and lyrical. She graduated from CSU Chico with a double major in Liberal Studies, where she had the opportunity to work with a lot of elementary aged students. She loves teaching at Flare because it is not only a positive and supportive environment but all the teachers work on creating both strong dancers and well-rounded people.
Katie started performing at the age of 4, participating in gymnastics, ballet, choir, band, and any acting opportunity her parents could find. After moving to Redding from the Bay Area at age 8, her focus changed to be fully dedicated to dance classes and ballet. She trained pre-professionally as a ballerina until injuries in both legs caused her to take a break at age 17. She performed on the SHS Dance Team throughout high school. In 2012 she performed in Shasta College's production of Legally Blonde: The Musical. She has been working in various roles at Flare since the studio opened in 2014.
Cassidy is our main front office extraordinaire and works with new family registrations, helping you get signed up for classes, and answering any questions you might have about the studio. She has been working in the office since Fall of 2021 but has been a part of the Flare family for much longer than that. Her first daughter, Zuri, began classes in Fall of 2017 and since then her second daughter has started taking classes as well. Cassidy knows the ins and outs of the studio as both a parent and a staff member.
Kristi Amacker grew up dancing in Redding, CA. She purchased her home studio and opened Front & Center in 2002. She, and her dancers have traveled all over the west coast attending competitions and bringing home choreography awards, showmanship awards, and specialty judges awards. Recently, Kristi closed Front & Center so she could focus more on her family.
Kya is a dance teacher from Shasta County who’s been dancing since she was young. She has two years of experience teaching hip-hop and one year teaching country swing and line dance. Her classes focus on strong foundations, building confidence, and just enjoying the movement.
Lily has been dancing since she was 3 and has been dancing with Flare for 10 years! She was awarded an Apprenticeship 3 years ago to prepare her to reach her goal of becoming a dance teacher. Not only is Lily involved with dance but has been apart of 4H/FFA for 10 years; raising chickens, goats, rabbits, and pigs. She is additionally on the Varsity Cheer Team at RBHS.
